Pakistan’s security forces say five more suspected militants were killed during the ongoing Operation Shaban in Balochistan, bringing the total number of militants killed in the operation to 57, according to security sources.
The operation is being conducted jointly by the Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan, and police. Security officials said operations against militants remain underway in the area, with additional intelligence-based operations also continuing.
Joint Operation Continues
According to security sources, the latest operation resulted in the deaths of five more suspected militants during security operations in Balochistan.
Officials said Operation Shaban remains active and that security forces are continuing coordinated operations aimed at clearing the area of militant threats.
Total Militant Death Toll Reaches 95 Since July 5, Officials Say
Security sources said that, since July 5, a combined total of 95 suspected militants have been killed in Operation Shaban and other intelligence-based operations conducted in Balochistan.
Officials added that security operations will continue until militant networks operating in the area are dismantled.
No independent confirmation of the casualty figures has been available, and authorities have not released further operational details.
