Security forces gunned down 13 Indian-sponsored terrorists in DI Khan operation

Rawalpindi — Security Forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in the Daraban area of Dera Ismail Khan District, targeting the reported presence of militants affiliated with the group Fitna al Khwarij, described as an Indian proxy network.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), troops effectively engaged the identified location during the operation, resulting in the elimination of thirteen militants. The individuals were reportedly involved in a series of terrorist activities, including facilitating a suicide bombing in Daraban in December 2023, as well as the abduction and targeted killing of government officials and civilians.

Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the site. The ISPR stated that these militants had played an active role in destabilizing the region through violent attacks and coordinated acts of terror.
