Karachi & Islamabad:
The Saudi Tourism Authority (STA) reinforced its commitment to the Pakistan market with a four-day B2B roadshow in Karachi and Islamabad. The initiative introduced new MICE opportunities and destination experiences, further deepening tourism and business ties between the two countries.
B2B Networking and Tourism Opportunities
The roadshow connected Saudi stakeholders with key Pakistani trade partners. Participants included hotels, destination management companies (DMCs), airlines, transport providers, and destination marketing organizations (DMOs). Through one-on-one business meetings, matchmaking, and MICE-focused networking sessions, the program created fresh avenues for collaboration.
Saudi as a Hub for MICE Tourism
Saudi Arabia is positioning itself as a leading hub for MICE tourism. Its world-class convention centers, futuristic venues, and strong hospitality ecosystem are designed to host meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions at a global scale.
The roadshow also highlighted Saudi’s diverse experiences—from the heritage of AlUla to the energy of Riyadh, the vibrancy of Jeddah, and the natural beauty of Abha, Taif, and AlBaha. Major entertainment and lifestyle events, including MDL Beast and Riyadh Season, showcased the Kingdom’s ability to blend business with cultural discovery.
Special Travel Promotions
To encourage immediate engagement, STA launched exclusive promotions. These included summer deals, early-bird discounts for AlUla winter tours, and tailored packages for leisure and group travel.
Strong Delegation and Expanding Connectivity
The Saudi delegation featured Taiba Investments, Saudi Silk Route, Via Konnect, 88 Destinations, Kurban Tours, King Abdullah Economic City, Qiddiya, Aroya Cruise, Saudia Airlines, FlyADeal, the Haramain Train, and representatives of Saudi’s growing metro and high-speed rail services. These initiatives are enhancing connectivity across key Saudi cities.
Long-Term Commitment to Pakistan
This roadshow reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s long-term commitment to Pakistan. The Kingdom aims to provide integrated travel solutions that combine business, culture, and leisure.
