Pakistani actor and television host Sanam Jung has revealed that she received six traffic e-challans within a month of returning to Pakistan, claiming that some of the fines were issued for violations she says she did not commit.

Sharing her experience in an Instagram video, Jung said the repeated fines had left her frustrated and had even drawn criticism from her family, particularly her father.

Actress Questions Multiple Traffic Fines

Sanam Jung said the first e-challan was issued for using a mobile phone while driving, adding that she accepted responsibility for that violation and acknowledged the fine was justified.

However, she claimed that several subsequent challans were issued for alleged traffic offences she insists never occurred.

Seat Belt Fine Disputed

Among the fines she questioned was an e-challan for not wearing a seat belt. Jung said she always fastens her seat belt before driving, describing it as a habit developed while living abroad.

She added that she does not even start her vehicle without wearing a seat belt and was therefore surprised to receive the violation notice.

Calls for Greater Accuracy

The actress said she was unable to understand why she had been fined for offences she believes she did not commit. She also shared that the situation had led to criticism from family members, who were unhappy about the number of traffic challans issued against her.

Sanam Jung’s comments have sparked discussion on social media, with some users questioning the accuracy of the e-challan system while others emphasized the importance of following traffic regulations.
