Islamabad | April 30, 2026: Chairperson of the Benazir Income Support Programme, Senator Rubina Khalid, called for greater youth participation in leadership roles while addressing the Federal Youth Parliament in Islamabad.

She said empowering young people is critical to Pakistan’s future, stressing that youth must be given opportunities to contribute to policy, governance, and national development at an early stage.

Rubina Khalid described the Federal Youth Parliament as an important platform for nurturing talent and encouraging young people to engage with national issues. She said such forums should reflect public policy priorities and support efforts to strengthen democratic and institutional development.

She added that education, awareness, and leadership training are essential for enabling young people to succeed in an increasingly competitive environment.
