Rockstar Games has announced that a new extended showcase of Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6) will premiere on August 27, giving fans a closer look at one of the gaming industry’s most anticipated titles. The presentation will be available on Netflix, YouTube, and the official GTA 6 website.
The upcoming feature, titled “Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look,” is expected to provide fresh gameplay footage, story details, and additional insights ahead of the game’s release.
Extended GTA 6 presentation confirmed
According to Rockstar Games, the August 27 presentation will offer players a more detailed preview of GTA 6 following the earlier trailers released by the studio.
The event will stream simultaneously on Netflix, YouTube, and Rockstar’s official GTA 6 platform, allowing fans worldwide to watch the reveal.
Pre-orders already underway
Rockstar began accepting GTA 6 pre-orders in June.
The Standard Edition is priced at $79.99, while the Ultimate Edition is available for $99.99.
Story set in Vice City and Leonida
GTA 6 follows the story of Jason and Lucia, who become entangled in a larger criminal conspiracy after a failed heist.
The game is set in Vice City and the fictional state of Leonida, where the two protagonists must rely on each other to survive increasingly dangerous circumstances.
Initial release focuses on single-player
Rockstar Games has confirmed that GTA 6 will initially launch as a single-player experience.
The company has not announced any plans for an online or multiplayer mode, leaving future updates on those features pending.
