SHANGLA: A Rescue 1122 disaster response team successfully recovered a vehicle that overturned on the Beley Baba–Pagori Road near Alpurai, the district headquarters of Shangla, restoring traffic after a prompt emergency operation.
According to Rescue 1122 officials, the control room dispatched a disaster response team and a recovery vehicle immediately after receiving information about the accident.
Rescue team clears road
Upon reaching the scene, rescuers assessed the situation and carried out a recovery operation to safely remove the overturned vehicle from the roadway.
The damaged vehicle was shifted to a secure location, allowing authorities to reopen the road to traffic without significant delay.
Officials said all necessary safety protocols were observed throughout the operation to protect both rescue personnel and road users.
No casualties reported
Rescue 1122 confirmed that no injuries or fatalities were reported in the accident, although the vehicle sustained damage.
The cause of the incident was not immediately disclosed.

District Emergency Officer Engineer Malik Sher Dil Khan said Rescue 1122 remains fully prepared to respond to emergencies and accidents across Shangla at all times.
He advised motorists to exercise extra caution while driving on mountainous roads and to strictly follow traffic regulations to reduce the risk of accidents.
The emergency officer also appealed to the public to refrain from making false or unnecessary emergency calls, noting that such calls can divert rescue teams from genuine emergencies and delay assistance to people in need.
He urged citizens to help promote responsible use of the Rescue 1122 emergency service and support public awareness efforts to ensure timely emergency response.
