RAWALPINDI: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi has announced the results of the Intermediate Annual Examination 2026, with Atifa Javed securing the first position by obtaining 1,156 marks.
Noor Fatima Sajid stood second with 1,151 marks, while Nabiha Iman and Muneeb Shah jointly secured third position with 1,142 marks each.
61,409 Candidates Appeared
According to the Rawalpindi Board, a total of 61,409 candidates appeared in the Intermediate Annual Examination 2026, of whom 36,896 were declared successful.
The overall pass percentage stood at 60.08%. Female candidates recorded a pass rate of 67.56%, compared with 46.52% among male candidates.
Position Holders Announced
The results were announced during a ceremony held at the Rawalpindi Board auditorium. Members of the Punjab Assembly Raja Muhammad Hanif and Malik Iftikhar Ahmed, Board Chairman Professor Dr Iqbal Mahmood, board officials, students and parents attended the event.
The board chairman announced the names of the position holders during the ceremony.
