MUMBAI: The first look of Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor from Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming film Love & War has been unveiled, giving fans an early glimpse of his character ahead of the movie’s release in 2027.
According to Indian media reports, the film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal and is among the highly anticipated Bollywood releases of 2027.
Bhansali Productions recently shared Ranbir Kapoor’s first look from the film on social media, while Vicky Kaushal also shared the promotional material.
In the released image, Ranbir is seen sitting in a vintage light-blue car, wearing sunglasses and projecting a serious and commanding appearance. One of his hands rests outside the vehicle while the other is on the steering wheel.
Blood can be seen on his exposed hand, suggesting that his character may have suffered an injury. However, the circumstances behind the scene and details of his character have not been officially revealed.
The first look has generated attention among fans, particularly because it offers an early indication of the film’s period-inspired visual style and Ranbir’s appearance in the project.
Love & War is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and is scheduled to hit cinemas on January 21, 2027, according to the production announcement.
The film brings Bhansali together with Ranbir Kapoor again after their previous collaboration, while Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal are also part of the main cast.
