SWAT: Provincial Minister for Livestock, Fisheries and Cooperatives Fazal Hakeem Khan inaugurated the Ramadan Special Three-Week Special Cleanup Campaign in Mingora city under the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Agenda.
The special cleaning campaign will continue for three weeks. In which cleaning of government properties of various NCs and VCs of Mingora city, cleaning of drains and roads, placing garbage bins at specific places, cleaning of footpaths and roadsides will be done.
On this occasion, City Mayor Shahid Ali Khan, Assistant Commissioner Babuzai Muhammad Jawad Asif, Village Council Chairmans Rustam Khan, Habibullah, Muhammad Rehman Spin Khan, Khalil Ahmed, General Manager WSSC Swat Asif Saleem, cleaning staff and others were also present.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the cleaning campaign, Provincial Minister Fazal Hakeem Khan said that Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur has strictly directed that practical steps be taken on all the points of the public agenda.
In this regard, a special cleanliness campaign has been launched in Mingora city which will continue for three weeks.
He said that cleanliness is half of faith and making the province clean and transparent is our mission, added that the aim of this initiative is to maintain cleanliness in the area and provide a healthy environment to the people, so the people are also requested to cooperate with the cleaning staff and throw the garbage in the dustbin.

He directed the WASA officials to work in consultation with the local government representatives and if there is any shortage or need, Tehsil Mayor Babuzai Shahid Ali Khan is there to serve you.Go to them and get your problems resolved.
“We are the people’s representatives and no compromise will be made on the public’s interests, added that the people should also come and join us in this special cleanliness campaign because it is a common responsibility of all of us, he said,”
He said the people should make their homes and the environment around them clean and transparent and prove themselves as patriotic citizens.
