Rabia Kulsoom Calls on PTA to Block Zamail’s WhatsApp Account

Pakistani actress Rabia Kulsoom has humorously called on the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) to block the WhatsApp account of Zamail, a character from the drama serial Dar-e-Nijaat.

The drama, written by Umera Ahmed and directed by Saqib Khan, stars Sheheryar Munawar, Dur-e-Fishan Saleem and Nomer Khan in prominent roles. The series is currently airing on ARY Digital and has generated considerable discussion among viewers around themes including spirituality, guidance and religious hypocrisy.

In recent episodes, Zamail’s character has become increasingly distressed after learning about Zaryab’s marriage to Abu Bakar. He had previously challenged Zaryab and questioned whether she deserved a better life, while also attempting to interfere in her relationship.

Zamail’s repeated WhatsApp messages to Zaryab became the subject of a light-hearted social media reaction from Rabia Kulsoom.

Commenting on the fictional character’s behavior, Kulsoom called on the PTA to block Zamail’s WhatsApp account until 4:30am, turning the character’s persistent messaging into a humorous online moment.

Actress Dur-e-Fishan Saleem also responded to the post, agreeing that blocking the account would be “the only right solution.”

The exchange quickly added another layer of humor to the ongoing audience discussion surrounding Zamail’s increasingly disruptive behavior in Dar-e-Nijaat.
