Punjab Wins Special Olympics Pakistan National Games

Special athletes from Punjab celebrate winning the Special Olympics Pakistan National Games in Islamabad.

ISLAMABAD – Punjab emerged as the overall champion at the Special Olympics Pakistan National Games, held at the Pakistan Sports Complex in Islamabad. The three-day event concluded with athletes showcasing exceptional talent and determination.

Punjab secured the top position with 12 gold medals, followed by Sindh with nine gold and 10 silver medals. Federal Area claimed third place, winning eight gold medals.

Federal Secretary and Director General of the Pakistan Sports Board, Mohyuddin Ahmad Wani, attended the closing ceremony as chief guest. He, along with Ronak Lakhani, presented medals to the winning athletes.

Competitions included races, shot put, and mini javelin throw events, highlighting the skill and dedication of special athletes from across the country.
