LAHORE: The Punjab government has opened admissions for the fourth batch of its Advanced IT Programme under the Hunarmand Punjab, Khudmukhtar Pakistan Vision 2030 initiative, offering free training in modern digital skills.
The programme is designed to equip young people with skills in digital technology, freelancing and other areas needed to access employment opportunities in the global digital market.
According to the provincial government’s plan, the programme aims to train 1 million young people overall.
The fourth batch includes more than 26 courses, covering a range of technology and digital skills. The initiative seeks to help young people pursue both conventional employment and freelancing opportunities.
Training will be provided free of charge, while the programme also includes merit-based scholarship cards for eligible participants.
Seats for the fourth batch are limited, and interested applicants have been advised to apply promptly.
The Punjab government says the programme is focused on equipping young people with modern IT and digital skills while helping them access new employment and income opportunities through freelancing and the international digital services market.
