LAHORE, July 30, 2026: Provincial Minister Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar on Thursday urged graduating law students to combine academic achievement with integrity, professional ethics and a commitment to public service, saying strong character was essential for success in the legal profession.

He made the remarks while addressing a certificate distribution ceremony at Superior College of Law, where he presented shields and certificates to outstanding graduates.

Khokhar said successful societies were built on quality education, moral values and respect for the rule of law. He advised students not to view a degree as the end of their education, but as the beginning of a professional responsibility toward society.

The minister said honesty, accountability and service to the public should remain central to the work of young lawyers entering the profession.

He added that legal professionals had an important role in protecting citizens’ rights, upholding the Constitution and improving access to justice.

Khokhar expressed confidence that the graduates would contribute to the country through professional competence, discipline and integrity.
