The Deputy Commissioner of Jamshoro has officially declared a public holiday across the district on Monday, February 17, in honor of the Urs of Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar.
The Urs celebrations are set to begin with great devotion and enthusiasm. According to the notification, all government offices, educational institutions, and public sector organizations in Sehwan will remain closed to facilitate devotees and ensure smooth event management.
Authorities have also intensified security and logistical arrangements, including medical camps, traffic management, and enhanced security measures, to accommodate the large influx of visitors and ensure a peaceful event.
