SHANGLA:: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has appointed former provincial minister and ex-MPA Shaukat Ali Yousafzai as the party’s Provincial Information Secretary for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, according to an official notification issued by the party.

The appointment places one of PTI’s long-serving leaders in charge of the party’s information and media affairs in the province at a time when the party continues to focus on organizational and political activities across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Shaukat Yousafzai has been associated with PTI since its early years and is regarded as one of the party’s senior leaders in the province. He has previously served as a member of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly and held ministerial portfolios, including Information and Health.

Over the course of his political career, Yousafzai has also served as Media Adviser to PTI founder Imran Khan and as General Secretary of PTI Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He has frequently represented the party on national and international media platforms.

Party leaders and workers welcomed the appointment, expressing confidence that his experience in politics, governance, and media affairs would help strengthen communication between the party and the public.

According to party sources, the appointment was made on the directives of the Provincial President of PTI Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The notification was issued and signed by Ali Asghar Khan, General Secretary of PTI Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Supporters and party officials said the move is expected to support PTI’s outreach and organizational efforts across the province.
