PTCL and WWF-Pakistan have joined hands for a tree plantation drive in Islamabad as part of the company’s Independence Day campaign, ‘Pakistan Jitna Jawan’.
ISLAMABAD, August 13, 2026: Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL), in collaboration with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF)-Pakistan, organised a tree plantation drive at the PTCL Training Academy in Islamabad under the banner of ‘Plant for Pakistan’.
The initiative was organised as part of PTCL’s Independence Day campaign, ‘Pakistan Jitna Jawan’, reaffirming a shared commitment to building a cleaner, greener and more sustainable Pakistan.
PTCL CEO Nadeem Khan and WWF-Pakistan Senior Director Programmes Rab Nawaz participated in the plantation activity alongside executive management from both organisations and members of the PTCL family.
The initiative brought employees and leadership together in a collective effort to support environmental protection and promote a healthier and greener future for the country.
PTCL’s Sustainability Commitment
The ‘Plant for Pakistan’ initiative is part of PTCL’s broader sustainability agenda, which includes efforts to reduce its environmental impact and lower its carbon footprint.
