More than 100 young people completed a week-long skills development programme focused on artificial intelligence, graphic designing, video editing and other market-oriented digital skills.
PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Youth Affairs Department has successfully completed a week-long Youth Skill Development Programme aimed at equipping young people with modern digital and market-oriented skills.
More than 100 young participants received training in Artificial Intelligence (AI), graphic designing and video editing, along with other digital skills considered relevant to the evolving job market.
A certificate distribution ceremony was held at the Directorate of Youth Affairs Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where Project Director Tufail Khan Khalil, Deputy Director Zubair Khattak and other officials attended and distributed certificates among the successful participants.
According to the department, 80 percent of the participants were from Khyber District, while the remaining 20 percent came from other districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Focus on Digital Opportunities
Deputy Director Zubair Khattak appreciated the participants for their interest and commitment to learning modern digital skills.
He said the growing interest among young people in fields such as artificial intelligence, graphic design and video production reflected their potential to contribute to the global digital economy.
Project Director Tufail Khan Khalil said providing young people with modern digital skills was among the provincial government’s priorities.
He added that digital training could help create opportunities for employment, economic independence and entrepreneurship, particularly as demand for technology-based skills continues to grow.
The Youth Affairs Department reaffirmed its commitment to organising additional skill-based training programmes to help young people across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa develop practical skills and improve their employment prospects.
