KARACHI, August 10, 2026: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) ended a mixed session on Monday, with the benchmark KSE-100 Index falling 119 points to close at 181,310.
The market witnessed considerable intraday movement despite the relatively modest decline at the close. The KSE-100 traded within a 1,527-point range during the session and climbed as high as 182,347.
Trading activity remained strong, with around 910 million shares changing hands across the market at a total traded value of approximately Rs44 billion.
Despite the decline in the benchmark index, total PSX market capitalisation increased by Rs20 billion to Rs20.257 trillion.
The session ultimately ended mixed, with gains in parts of the market offset by selling pressure elsewhere, leaving the benchmark index slightly below its previous close.
