KARACHI, October 9, 2026: The Pakistan Stock Exchange opened higher on Friday, with the benchmark KSE-100 index crossing the 168,000-point mark in early trade.
The index gained more than 600 points at the start of the final trading session of the week, rising to 168,134 points.
The KSE-100 had closed at 167,441 points in the previous session.
The early gains reflected a positive start to trading, with the benchmark reclaiming the 168,000 level after the previous day’s close below the mark.
