KARACHI, September 9, 2026: Pakistan State Oil (PSO) hosted a student exhibition at its head office in collaboration with the Karachi Vocational Training Centre (KVTC), highlighting the creativity, vocational skills and achievements of differently-abled students.

The event builds on a partnership between PSO and KVTC that dates back to 2018 and reflects the company’s continued focus on community development, social inclusion and meaningful employee engagement.

The exhibition featured stalls displaying handmade products created by KVTC students. PSO employees were given an opportunity to purchase the products and directly support the young artisans.

The event was designed as an interactive experience, with students explaining their crafts and demonstrating the process to PSO employees. The interaction provided an opportunity for employees to learn about the students’ skills and experiences while encouraging greater appreciation and understanding.

Speaking at the event, PSO CSR Trust member Asif Khan said the company remained committed to giving back to society by creating opportunities for differently-abled individuals to develop their skills, express their creativity and participate fully in society.

He said the partnership with KVTC reflected PSO’s belief that meaningful progress depends on inclusion, dignity and equal opportunity.

Farheen Amir, Chief Operating Officer of KVTC, said sustained corporate support was important in providing students with the confidence and tools needed to pursue financial independence and gain greater recognition in society.

She thanked PSO for its continued partnership since 2018, saying such events not only showcase students’ handmade products but also demonstrate that their abilities and hard work are valued.

Through their ongoing collaboration, PSO and KVTC continue to support vocational training for differently-abled youth, helping equip them with practical skills and opportunities for a more independent and dignified future.
