Muzaffarabad: A demonstration was held under the aegis of Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir to mark the end of the 1,700-day Indian military siege in occupied Jammu and Kashmir since August 5, 2019.

The speaker thinks that India has no right to legal and military adventure in an internationally contested situation.
They said that India exists as an occupying power in Jammu and Kashmir and its unilateral action cannot change the internationally recognized status of the dispute.
The speaker said that the Indian government had unilaterally violated bilateral agreements with the Kashmiri people in the past.
They said that despite all the violence since August 5, 2019, the Narendra Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party government has not been able to break the moral, eternal spirit of freedom and undying love for freedom of the people of Kashmir.
They said that the people of Kashmir never accepted the separation of Ladakh and Jammu Kashmir and they rejected the separation of the state with continuous resistance.
They said, “India is a ruthless imperialist who is trying to take away Kashmir’s land, identity, tradition, civilization, flag and Islamic identity from the people of Kashmir.”
“Narendra Modi violated the political, civil, social, and religious rights of the citizens of the occupied country with the worst measures of black law,” he said.
The so-called democratic candidates are taking steps to introduce the worst agenda of Hindutva by imposing a complete ban on freedom of speech.
The speakers said that all the evil practices of India will be exposed before the people of Kashmir.
