Protest in Kashmir against India, demanding UN to intervene for peace

Muzaffarabad: Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir organized a protest against escalation of tension raised by India in South Aisa here.

According to details, a large number of citizens participated in the demonstration against the Modi government here on Tuesday.

Kashmiri protesters raised black flags and protested against Indian threats to peace.

They were holding the national flags of Pakistan and Kashmir besides holding banners on which it was written “War in Kashmir will be India’s last folly”.

They were also chanting slogans against Indian rulers for their stubborn and war mongering behavior.

Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Pasban-e-Hurriyat Uzair Ahmed Ghazali said that the Indian government is using the Pahalgam incident as revenge in Kashmir.

He cautioned that India is trying to convert Jammu and Kashmir into a battlefield.

“The United Nations should take steps to resolve the Kashmir issue”, he appealed.

Faisal Farooq said that if India started the war, it will not be fought on the Line of Control but in Srinagar for the freedom of occupied Kashmir.

Usman Ali Hashim stated that the war on the Line of Control will destroy the peace of the region.

Muammad Fayyaz Khan said that India is hiding its war crimes under the guise of the Pahalgam incident.

Imtiaz Aziz Khan said that India has arrested 3000 Kashmiri citizens after the Pahalgam incident which shows her animosity towards Kashmiri people.

Mehnaz Qureshi appalled that Indian government has destroyed the houses of 28 Kashmiri citizens with explosives.

Javed Ahmed said that Altaf Lali, Ghulam Rasool Magre and Imtiaz Ahmed Magre have been killed in fake encounters.

People in the protest demanded the United Nations to immediately intervene in the deteriorating situation of Kashmir to save innocent Kashmiri people lives and for the peace in the region.
