KARACHI: The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has announced the online registration schedule for the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) 2026, along with details of fees and examination dates.
According to the official schedule, MDCAT 2026 will be held on August 16 at 10:00 AM across the country. Online registration for candidates will begin from June 22, 2026.
Registration deadlines and fees
PMDC has set July 8, 2026 as the final date for regular registration. Candidates will also be able to apply under late registration until July 13, 2026, subject to an additional fee.
The registration fee for MDCAT 2026 has been fixed at Rs9,000, while the late registration fee has been set at Rs13,000, which will be non-refundable.
Important update for students
The MDCAT is a mandatory entry test for admission to medical and dental colleges in Pakistan, and thousands of students appear in the examination each year. PMDC has advised candidates to complete registration within the given deadlines to avoid late charges.
