Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday renewed the commitment of the Government of Pakistan to ensure and provide health facilities to all the population.
In his speech on World Health Day, the Prime Minister reiterated his commitment to transform Pakistan’s health sector at all levels towards the goal of a healthy country.
The theme of the year, “My Health, My Rights,” includes the right of every citizen to quality health care, he said.
To ensure health for all and promises to the people in the PML-N manifesto, the prime minister said that he will focus on improving secondary, tertiary and tertiary health care, medical education, preventive health care and governance.
“We will collaborate and encourage the provincial government to open mobile health clinics to expand and improve health facilities, expand access, improve immunization and improve mental health services,” said the Prime Minister’s Media Wing in a press release. .
The Prime Minister said that the establishment and commissioning of Medical Cities, Cancer Hospitals and Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute facilities in each province remained a priority.
“We are proud to launch the PMLN Health Card 2013-18. “We want to provide universal health care and universal health insurance for our population, and free health care for low- and middle-income families.”
On the occasion of World Health Day, the Prime Minister praised health workers, paramedics, nurses and other health workers for their round-the-clock service dedicated to providing health services to the people.
