Five-Day Project Management Training for PESCO Employees Concludes

A five-day PESCO project management training programme for employees concluded in Peshawar, officials said on Saturday, as the power distribution company continues efforts to improve staff capacity and project delivery.

The training was organised by the Human Resource Development Center at the Institute of Management Sciences, known as IMSciences. According to PESCO, the programme was aimed at strengthening employees’ professional skills in project planning, execution, monitoring and evaluation.

The sessions included case studies, practical exercises and interactive discussions on modern project management practices. Officials said the training was designed to help participants improve organisational performance and support effective implementation of projects.

More Training Programmes Planned

PESCO said additional specialised training initiatives have been planned for employees in the coming months.

According to the statement, the training programme was held in line with the vision of Chairman Board of Directors PESCO Himyatullah Khan and under the directions of Chief Executive Officer PESCO Akhtar Hamid Khan.

The company said the training calendar is being implemented under the supervision of Director General Human Resources PESCO Siab Ahmed, with employee development being treated as part of organisational growth and professional improvement.
