PESHAWAR: Peshawar Electric Supply Company has announced arrangements to ensure uninterrupted power supply across the PESCO region during Eid-ul-Azha for the convenience of consumers.

According to PESCO, there will be no load management on the first two days of Eid, allowing citizens in its service areas to observe the religious occasion without scheduled power disruptions.

PESCO Board of Directors Chairman Himayatullah Khan said all necessary arrangements had been completed to maintain smooth electricity supply across the region.

PESCO Chief Executive Officer Akhtar Hamid Khan said a control room had been established at the company’s head office to respond to any emergency during Eid.

He said the control room, supervised by chief engineers, would monitor electricity supply and coordinate response measures if any fault or disruption occurs.

PESCO said all operations officers, including executive engineers and sub-divisional officers, would remain on high alert during Eid to provide timely services to consumers.

The company said necessary repair work on electrical installations had been completed and safety measures were being ensured.
