Mirpur — A significant performance review meeting of technicians at the Free Kidney Dialysis Centre, located within the Divisional Teaching Hospital Mirpur, was held under the chairmanship of Dr. Tahir Mehmood, President of Anjuman-e-Falah-o-Behbood-e-Insaniyat. The session thoroughly evaluated the center’s overall performance, the standard of dialysis machinery, staff behavior towards patients, and institutional discipline.

The meeting was attended by senior technician Masood Ahmed Jarral, Syed Shabbir Ahmed Shah, Mohammad Nawaz, technicians Ali Shah, Tabish Butt, Abdul Hannan, Abdul Jabbar, Hafiz Muhammad Nadeem, Safia Shaukat, Khizar Ali Hayat, admin officers Munir Abdul Majid and Jahangir Mughal, women’s wing in-charge Ayesha Malik, and others.
While addressing the meeting, Dr. Tahir Mehmood emphasized that dialysis is a highly sensitive and life-critical procedure. “Even the slightest negligence can pose a serious threat to a patient’s life. Therefore, it is imperative for technical staff to perform their duties with utmost responsibility, focus, and professional excellence,” he stated.

He further added, “An institution is defined by its discipline and quality of service. We must set a standard of exemplary conduct in every aspect to ensure patients receive the safest and highest quality medical care.”
Technicians were strictly instructed to adhere to all safety protocols before each treatment, maintain vigilance during equipment inspections, and treat every patient with kindness, empathy, and respect. The meeting also included detailed discussions on daily operations, patient feedback, and the machinery maintenance schedule.

Dr.Tahir Mehmood concluded by appreciating the dedication of the staff and reaffirming the organization’s commitment to its humanitarian mission. He made it clear that no negligence or complacency will be tolerated in serving this noble cause.
