Actor and entrepreneur Parul Gulati has alleged that two staff members at her hair extensions brand Nish Hair defrauded the business by diverting customer payments to personal bank accounts.

Gulati said the alleged fraud was discovered after a surprise visit to the company’s Bengaluru outlet, where she found that daily sales worth around Rs 15,000 to Rs 20,000 were allegedly not being deposited into the company’s official account.

According to Gulati, repeated inventory checks showed losses of nearly Rs 10 lakh. She alleged that the store manager admitted to misappropriating about Rs 8 lakh, while another employee linked to the case is reportedly absconding.

A police complaint has been filed, and legal proceedings are underway.

In a video posted on social media, Gulati urged customers who paid staff members directly to verify their transactions. She also expressed concern that the lost money may not be recovered.
