Several prominent Pakistani actors have participated in a five-day humanitarian mission in Jordan to support displaced Palestinian families and meet children receiving medical treatment after being injured during the war in Gaza.
The mission, held from September 29 to October 3 in collaboration with UK-registered charity SKT Welfare, brought together well-known entertainers, including Javed Sheikh, Saba Hameed, Shagufta Ejaz, Khalid Anum, Kubra Khan, Gohar Rasheed, Ahmed Ali Akbar, Ali Khan and Nabeel Zafar.
During the visit, the artists helped distribute food supplies among more than 500 families displaced from Gaza. They also visited Palestinian children receiving treatment in Jordan and met their families.
According to actor Khalid Anum, the children included those injured during the war as well as young patients suffering from cancer and heart conditions.
The charity also organised special meals, recreational activities and entertainment for children undergoing treatment, aiming to provide them with moments of comfort and happiness amid difficult circumstances.
The participating artists shared photographs and videos of their humanitarian activities on social media, highlighting their efforts to support Palestinian families and raise awareness of their needs.
The initiative reflects the role public figures can play in drawing attention to humanitarian challenges and supporting relief efforts for vulnerable communities.
