Pakistan concluded their warm-up match against a West Indies XI without a result as both teams completed valuable preparations ahead of the upcoming two-match Test series, which begins on July 25.
The practice match, played at Queen’s Park Cricket Club, gave Pakistan an opportunity to assess form and combinations before the Test series. Pakistan posted 455 runs in their first innings and 219 runs in the second innings, while the West Indies XI were bowled out for 279 runs in their only innings.
Pakistan Bowlers Impress in Practice Match
Fast bowler Mohammad Ali led Pakistan’s bowling attack with five wickets, while Aamir Jamal and Ali Usman claimed two wickets each. Mohammad Abbas also contributed with one wicket.
The match ended without a result, allowing both sides to complete their scheduled preparations before the start of the Test series.
Test Series Begins on July 25
Pakistan and the West Indies will begin their two-match Test series on July 25, with both teams aiming to build momentum in the ICC World Test Championship cycle.
The practice fixture provided valuable match time for players as the teams finalize their preparations for the opening Test.
