Pakistan’s fast bowlers achieved a rare Test cricket milestone by claiming all 20 West Indies wickets across both innings of the match.

The performance marked the first time in 31 years that Pakistan’s pace attack had dismissed every opposition batter in both innings of a Test. Pakistani fast bowlers last accomplished the feat against Zimbabwe in the 1995 Harare Test.

The match also produced a historic record for Test cricket in the Caribbean, as fast bowlers from both teams claimed all 40 wickets. It was the first Test played in the West Indies in which every wicket fell to pace bowling.

The previous closest instance in the Caribbean came during the 2025 Kingston Test between West Indies and Australia, when fast bowlers accounted for 39 of the 40 wickets.

The latest achievement underlined the influence of pace bowling in conditions that offered significant assistance to seamers throughout the match.
