KARACHI, September 29, 2026: The three-day Pakistan Music Festival 2026, organized by the Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi, concluded at the Jaun Elia Lawn with performances featuring a wide range of Pakistani musical traditions and styles.
Thousands of music enthusiasts attended the festival during its three days and applauded performances by established and emerging Pakistani singers and musicians.
The festival featured renowned classical singer Ustad Hamid Ali Khan along with Humaira Channa, Ghulam Abbas Khan, Mahmood Ali Khan, Akhlaq Bashir, Farhan Rais Khan, Imran Abbas Khan, Imran Javed, Mazhar Umrao Bindu Khan, Muhammad Zubair, Arman Rahim, Uroosa Ali, Arif Ansari, Ameer Ali, Noman Khan and numerous other performers.
Artists including Faheem Faqeer, Merub Javelin, Nabeel Abbas, Abdul Rafi, Mustafa Baloch, Muneeb Khan, Sameer Hamza, Leeza Fatima, Noman Al-Sheikh, Salman Alvi, Sagheer Ahmed, Aziz Warsi, Maham Tahir, Waqar Hussain, Shah Rukh Abbas, Faisal Latif, Narodha Malani, Shoukat Faqeer, Rashid Ali Haideri, Intizar Hussain, Mumtaz Sabzal, Kamran Saggu, Imran Nashad, Shehbaz Ali, Hira Qaiser of Pakistan Idol, Kashia Keif, Naila Saleem, Sonia Khan, Shuja, Newton Mushtaq and Esha Adhiwal also performed at the festival.
The performers presented music representing different genres, traditions and regional influences, highlighting the diversity of Pakistan’s musical heritage. Noman Khan also served as host while performing during the festival.
President Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi Muhammad Ahmed Shah, Chairman Music Committee Amjad Hussain Shah, Chairman Special Committee Iqbal Latif and members of the Governing Body attended the event.
Speaking on the occasion, Muhammad Ahmed Shah said the response to Pakistan Music Festival 2026 reflected the public’s appreciation for quality music and Pakistani artists. He said the festival brought together established performers and emerging talent while showcasing diverse musical styles and regional cultural influences.
He added that the Arts Council would continue providing platforms for the promotion of music and other performing arts.
Chairman Arts Council Music Committee Amjad Hussain Shah described the festival as an important occasion for artists and thanked Muhammad Ahmed Shah for his continued support for cultural activities.
He said promoting young talent remained an important part of the Arts Council’s efforts to strengthen Pakistan’s performing arts landscape.
