Islamabad: Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Pakistan H.E. Zererhan Kistafin invited the Minister of IT and Telecommunications Shaza Fatima Khawaja.
The two parties exchanged views on strengthening cooperation in the field of IT and telecommunications.
Minister of State for IT Shaza Fatima said that Pakistan wants to develop relations with Kazakhstan in the field of IT and telecommunications and said that there is a need to establish a joint working group between the two countries to bring together technology companies between the two countries.
He said that Pakistan and Kazakhstan can also start technology transfer and exchange programs of IT professionals.
Shaza Fatima said that there are investment opportunities in Pakistan’s IT and telecommunication sector and invited Kazakhstan technology companies to invest in this sector.
The Ambassador of Kazakhstan said that Kazakhstan will increase cooperation with Pakistan in the field of IT and Telecom and strengthen relations in this sector.
The meeting was also attended by MoITT Additional Secretary Mrs. Aisha Humera Moriani, Chairman of Pakistan Software Houses Association (P@SHA) Muhammad Zohaib Khan and DG International Coordinator Syed Jawwad Ali Sherazi.
