Rawalpindi: H.E Mrs. Jane Marriott, British High Commissioner called on Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif.
The Defense Minister said that Pakistan attaches importance to its relationship with the UK and appreciates the UK’s efforts in the Afghan reconciliation process.
The Defense Minister said he wants to keep the UK-UK Defense Cooperation Forum (DCF) at the level of the Defense Minister.
The Minister and the High Commissioner expressed their satisfaction with the cooperation between the two countries for regional stability.
Both sides stressed the need to expand defense and security ties between the two countries.
