Security forces have killed three militants affiliated with Fitna al-Hindustan during search and sanitisation operations in Kambila and Asimabad areas of Balochistan, according to security sources.
The operations were conducted as part of ongoing efforts against militant elements in the province. Security forces cleared an area covering approximately 68 square kilometres during the operations, the sources said.
According to security sources, three militants were killed during the action, while the bodies of two of them were recovered. Four other militants were injured, including militant commander Shaukat Mama.
Twelve Suspects Detained
Security forces also detained 12 suspected individuals during the operations for further investigation, according to the sources.
The operation also targeted militant hideouts. Security forces reportedly dismantled the hideouts and removed flags associated with Fitna al-Hindustan from the cleared areas.
Security forces have stated that Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3 will continue with full force until the complete elimination of terrorism.
