Marrakesh, Morocco – The Prime Minister’s Youth Programme (PMYP), Government of Pakistan, proudly participated in the OIC Youth Capital 2025 Volunteers and Youth Gathering. Held in Marrakesh with support from the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF), the event united youth delegates from OIC member states and across the Muslim world. Together, they explored new strategies to boost cooperation, civic engagement, and youth empowerment.

Representing Pakistan, Rizwan Anwar, Special Representative to PMYP, delivered a compelling presentation. He outlined Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif’s vision for youth development. In addition, he highlighted key initiatives led by Chairman PMYP, Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan. Most notably, he emphasized the success of Pakistan’s Digital Youth Hub. This platform connects young people to scholarships, training programs, and career opportunities.

Furthermore, Maha Jamil, also a Special Representative to PMYP, addressed the forum with a powerful message. She spoke about volunteerism as a catalyst for social change. Maha shared Pakistan’s pioneering efforts in mobilizing youth for civic responsibility. According to her, volunteerism builds character and strengthens communities. She reaffirmed the government’s commitment to nurturing responsible and empowered citizens.

Moreover, PMYP’s presence at OIC Youth Capital 2025 reflects Pakistan’s dedication to youth-led progress. By engaging with delegates from other nations, Pakistan demonstrated its readiness to collaborate and exchange ideas. As a result, the country reinforced its role as a regional leader in youth policy and innovation.

Through this global platform, Pakistan showcased inclusive and forward-thinking policies. These policies prioritize opportunity, digital access, and leadership development. Consequently, the nation continues to position itself as a champion of youth empowerment.

In conclusion, PMYP’s participation in the OIC Youth Capital 2025 gathering elevated Pakistan’s profile. It also inspired meaningful dialogue around shared challenges and solutions. The event served as a reminder that when youth are empowered, nations thrive.
