LOWER DIR (Rahmat Ullah Swati): Divisional Deputy Director of Food for Malakand Division Muhammad Zubair and District Food Controller Jawad Ali Khan inspected various flour mills across Lower Dir to review the transportation and distribution system of government-subsidized flour.
During the inspection, the officials checked whether the distribution process was being carried out in a transparent and well-organized manner. They also verified whether dealers were collecting their allocated daily quota of flour produced by the mills and whether the flour was available in the market.
The officials further examined flour sales receipts and verified records entered into the ICT application to ensure the accuracy of the information and its timely entry.
The inspection was aimed at monitoring the subsidized flour supply chain and ensuring that the allocated flour reaches the market through the prescribed distribution system.
