Islamabad, February 17, 2026: The National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) hosted its annual career fair, NUST Career Connect 2026 (NCC ’26), bringing together more than 130 organisations and over 4,000 students at its main campus in Islamabad.
Organised by the NUST Placement Office, the event served as a platform for graduating students to connect with employers across multiple sectors, explore career opportunities and participate in recruitment discussions.

NUST Pro-Rector Research, Innovation & Commercialisation Dr Rizwan Riaz inaugurated the fair. He highlighted the importance of academia-industry collaboration in preparing graduates for evolving market demands and said initiatives like NCC help students transition from academic life to professional careers.
Broad industry participation
According to organisers, participating companies represented a wide range of industries, offering opportunities in engineering, technology, finance, management and other disciplines.
Students engaged directly with recruiters through on-site interviews, networking sessions and company briefings. The university said such initiatives strengthen employer engagement and contribute to its global standing in employer reputation rankings.
NUST currently ranks #98 globally in Employer Reputation, reflecting its focus on industry linkages and graduate employability.
Officials said NCC ’26 reaffirmed the university’s commitment to building strong partnerships with industry stakeholders and equipping students with the skills required for impactful careers.
