Bollywood actress Nushrratt Bharuccha has suffered a spinal fracture after an accident in Bali, where she had travelled for professional commitments and a work-cum-holiday trip. Her team confirmed the injury and said she would undergo spine surgery.
The actress was initially hospitalised in Bali and kept under medical observation. Following further medical evaluation, arrangements were made to bring her back to Mumbai by air ambulance for further treatment and surgery.
Nushrratt has since returned to Mumbai, with videos showing her being transported on a stretcher after arriving in the city. Her team has requested privacy while she focuses on treatment and recovery.
Details about how the accident occurred have not been publicly disclosed. Her team has also indicated that her upcoming work commitments are likely to be affected as she takes time to recover.
