Indian actress Nushrratt Bharuccha has shared her first social media update following spinal surgery after suffering a fracture in an accident in Bali, Indonesia. Her hopeful message has drawn attention from fans concerned about her recovery.
In an Instagram Story posted on Saturday, the actress shared a photograph of a sunset viewed through a window, with an empty wheelchair visible in the foreground. Alongside the image, she reflected on how her circumstances had suddenly changed.
“I have always chased beautiful sunsets, and suddenly my view changed. But, picture abhi baaki hai, my friends,” she wrote, expressing hope that her journey still has much left to unfold.
Nushrratt suffered a spinal fracture during an accident in Bali in early October while she was there for work and a holiday. Following the incident, her team said she was under medical supervision and arrangements were being made to transfer her to Mumbai for further treatment.
She was subsequently brought to Mumbai by air ambulance, where she underwent surgery.
According to her team, the spinal injury and subsequent operation mean that the actress needs time and rest to recover. Her condition is also expected to affect her work schedule over the coming weeks.
Nushrratt is known for her performances in films including Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and the horror film Chhorii. She has established herself in Bollywood through roles spanning comedy, drama and horror.
Her latest message, particularly the words “Picture abhi baaki hai,” has conveyed a hopeful outlook as she focuses on recovery.
