MUMBAI: Indian actress Nushrratt Bharuccha has shared her first message on social media following surgery for a spinal fracture sustained in an accident in Bali, Indonesia, earlier this month.
The actress posted a sunset photograph on her Instagram Story, featuring an empty wheelchair near a window. Alongside the image, she reflected on how unexpectedly her circumstances had changed.
Bharuccha wrote that she had always chased beautiful sunsets, but suddenly the view itself had changed. Expressing hope for the future, she added, “Picture abhi baaki hai mere dost” (The picture is not over yet, my friend).
Accident in Bali
The accident occurred in early October while Bharuccha was in Bali for work and a holiday. She reportedly suffered a spinal fracture and later underwent surgery in Mumbai.
Her latest social media message marks her first public update about her well-being following the procedure. The hopeful words have drawn attention to her determination to look ahead despite the difficult experience.
Bharuccha is known for her roles in films including Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and the horror film Chhorii.
