MARDAN: Chairman Senate Standing Committee on Interior Senator Faisal Saleem Rehman administered the oath of office to the newly elected office-bearers of the Mardan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) at a ceremony attended by representatives of the local business and industrial community.
The newly elected office-bearers include President Masood ur Rehman, Senior Vice President Sirbiland Khan, Vice President Murad Ali and members of the Executive Committee.
Assistant Commissioner Katlang Qaiser Mughal, former MCCI President Awais Khan, Secretary of the Central Traders Organization District Mardan Waqar Ali Badshah, Chairman Ghulam Sarwar Saraf, District Naib Nazim Asad Khan Kashmiri, Women Chamber President Aqeela Sumbal, Executive Committee members and other representatives of the business and industrial community attended the oath-taking ceremony.
Speaking on the occasion, Senator Faisal Saleem Rehman congratulated the newly elected cabinet and said the business community plays a vital role in strengthening the national economy.
He expressed the hope that the new MCCI leadership would work actively to address the challenges faced by traders and industrialists, promote business activities and help create a conducive environment for investment in Mardan.
MCCI Group Leader Zahir Shah said the newly elected leadership would utilize all available resources to meet the expectations of the business community.
He emphasized the importance of stronger coordination and consultation with relevant government departments to resolve issues faced by traders and industrialists and facilitate business activity in the district.
Newly elected MCCI President Masood ur Rehman expressed his commitment to working collectively for the welfare of the business community, promoting trade and industry and contributing to the economic development of Mardan.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, Senator Faisal Saleem Rehman and other distinguished guests congratulated the newly elected office-bearers and extended their best wishes for a successful tenure.
