Details have emerged about the final hours of veteran Bollywood actor Nana Patekar before his death.
According to Dr. Shekhar Salkar of Manipal Hospital, Patekar sent a message to a friend at around 2:30 a.m., informing him that he was feeling unwell. However, the friend did not see the message because it was sent during the night.
The doctor said the friend reached Patekar’s residence at around 4 a.m. and found the actor sweating and gradually losing consciousness.
Patekar was taken to the hospital at around 4:30 a.m., where doctors attempted to revive him for approximately 45 minutes to an hour. Despite their efforts, he could not be saved.
Dr. Salkar further said that Patekar’s body was sent for a post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death.
