A grand rally was organized in Mardan district to express solidarity with the Pakistan Army which was organized by the district administration and Central Organization of Traders Zahir Shah Group. The rally was led by Additional Deputy Commissioner Mardan Eid Nawaz, President Central Organization of Traders District Mardan Zahir Shah, Regional Sports Officer, District Sports Officer Sajid Afridi, District Youth Officer Saddam Ali, school students, teachers, and a large number of people from different walks of life participated.
The rally started from Mardan Sports Complex and ended at Hospital Chowk. The rally included a 3 to 4 kilometer long convoy of vehicles decorated with national flags and banners. The participants raised slogans in favor of Pakistan Army, demonstrating national unity, solidarity and patriotism.
On this occasion the speakers paid tribute to the services and sacrifices of the Pakistani Armed Forces and said that the army is the guarantee of the survival and integrity of the country. At the end of the rally a special prayer was offered for the repose of the souls of the Pakistani Army and civilian martyrs, in which the greatness of the martyrs was saluted.
The Mardan District Administration appreciated the strong participation and patriotic spirit of the people in the rally, thanked all the participants and reiterated its commitment that all possible measures will continue for national unity, peace, and stability.
