Dhudial: Hundreds of fish have died in the Dhoke Jhakhar pond, creating an unbearable stench due to a lack of cleanliness, making it difficult for people to pass by.
According to locals, hundreds of fish were found dead along the pond’s edge five days ago. Several departments were approached for the removal of the dead fish, but none were willing to take responsibility. Despite the “Clean Punjab” campaign operating in Chakwal with hundreds of staff and dozens of vehicles, no action has been taken to remove the dead fish from the pond.
The increasing stench has become a major concern for residents, who are now urging the Deputy Commissioner of Chakwal to take immediate action.
