PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Information and Public Relations Shafi Jan on Saturday directed the Water and Sanitation Services Company (WSSC) Kohat to further improve the city’s sanitation and waste management system, stressing efficient public service delivery and better municipal facilities.
The directives were issued during a performance review meeting of WSSC Kohat, attended by KP Law Minister Aftab Alam and Member of the National Assembly (MNA) Shehryar Afridi.
The meeting reviewed the city’s sanitation performance, waste management operations, resource utilization, key challenges and plans aimed at improving municipal services.
Shafi Jan said providing quality municipal services remained one of the provincial government’s top priorities. He emphasized the need for a coordinated strategy to strengthen sanitation services, improve waste collection and ensure timely resolution of public complaints.
The participants reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing sanitation, cleanliness and other municipal services across Kohat through coordinated efforts.
