PESHAWAR — The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information and Public Relations Department has rejected social media claims regarding the cancellation of health card facilities associated with retired Lieutenant General Nigar Johar Khan, describing the circulating statement as false.
According to a statement attributed to Samar Haroon Bilour, certain elements are attempting to spread misinformation about the Health Card programme.
Bilour also declared a notification circulating on social media regarding the termination of Professor Dr Nousherwan Burki to be fake.
She said the government would not engage in any form of political victimisation, adding that serving the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and ensuring transparent performance remained its top priorities.
Bilour further stated that public welfare projects would continue and that any negligence or irregularities identified would be subject to accountability without discrimination.
