Kohat:-On the directions of Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur, the district administration and WSSC Kohat have launched a three-week special cleanliness drive ahead of Ramadan. The aim of this drive is to make the city clean and healthy so that the citizens can offer prayers in a clean environment during the month of Ramadan.
The drive was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Kohat Abdul Akram and Chairman of the Board of Directors Muhammad Saad.
During the inauguration, Deputy Commissioner Abdul Akram and Chairman of the Board Muhammad Saad requested the citizens not to throw garbage in the roads, drains or vacant plots, as doing so not only makes the environment dirty but also obstructs the drainage system, which creates problems of sewage and water drainage. The citizens were also reminded that cleanliness is a collective responsibility, and if we all take care of it together, our environment will remain clean and health problems will also be reduced.
WSSC Kohat Deputy General Manager Tahir Afif and Manager Operations (Acting) Imad Bangash were also present on the occasion. They appealed to the citizens to support the administration and WSSC Kohat in this cleanliness drive so that the city can be made clean and healthy.
