Islamabad: Pakistan Commercial Exchange Limited (PMEX) has appointed Khurram Zafar as Chief Executive Officer.
According to a press release, Khurram Zafar joins PMEX with a proven track record of business, technology and capital markets leadership in Pakistan, Europe and the US. Khurram Zafar has taken this responsibility.
Prior to his appointment as PMEX, Khurram led a Pakistan-based venture capital fund, founded the LUMS Innovation Center and served on the Pakistan Karandaaz Board and Digital Financial Services Board.
He also worked as the Chief Information Officer at the Lahore Stock Exchange. During his professional career in the US, he worked as a consultant for Merrill Lynch, Visa and Bank of America.
